We’re looking to hire the smartest software engineering interns!

If you answered yes to these questions then you may be a great fit as a software engineering intern for Virtual Learning Technologies (VLT). VLT is a fast-growth startup company located near Chandler Blvd. and Alma School Rd. in Chandler, AZ. VLT develops innovative web-based educational Flash games. We believe that the current education system uses outdated techniques which fail to engage and motivate students. Our vision is to positively revolutionize the way kids learn in and out of the classroom.
Roles & responsibilities (for VLT Internship)
- Rapidly become proficient in the tools, technology, agile process, and programming languages (Actionscript, PHP, Javascript) we use to develop software.
- Develop the core logic and UI handling code for upcoming educational games using our agile development process. Work with the art/sound team and other software engineers to integrate and test game components.
- Run test cases to identify software defects and implement solutions.
- Investigate &/or develop automated test solutions.
- Maintain and develop additional features for our product website.
- Gather requirements from management and work with art team to develop a VLT corporate website.
