Orange Slyce - Student Jobs
4. I am the practice manager (and CIO) for a family practice office in Gilbert. Our practice has led the State of Arizona in utilizing Health Information Technology for the last six years. Because of this, United HealthCare has given us a substantial grant to continue our development and we are looking for programming assistance to generate reports to further benefit patient care management. The grant is part of a Patient Centered Medical Home pilot program that is sponsored by UHC and IBM.
I am writing you for assistance in finding a student or two that has the necessary academic training to write views in MS SQL and generate reports in Crystal Reports. If the student has SQL savvy, I can train the student to use Crystal Reports. Working hours are flexible.
Can you be of assistance with our efforts? Please have any interested students send be their resume.

5. Call for Programmers, Developers, Coders with an artistic interest:
WorldIsStage is seeking a couple of team members to help with the construction of our web and mobile service. The project is funded partially by the GPSA, applications are being made to the P.A.V.E. program and the Edson/Innovation Challanges grants. I am a theatre Interdisciplinary Digital Media MFA (with my thesis being this project) and my partner is Brandon Mechtley, a C.S. PhD with a focus in AME. We are very eager to find developers or programmers familiar with the Google Toolkit, especially the Maps API and the Open Social platform (our site is currently running on Ning), as well as someone who has experience building apps for the iPhone.
The service itself could have a huge impact on the way we access entertainment and media. We are seeking to build a site and app which allows artists to post geo-tagged videos of performances around their communities and the globe. Audiences can then access these videos in the places they were created, media for the social/mobile audience. To set ourselves apart from the crowd we have integrated several innovative ideas, such as a co-op model for artists to profit from their business, a second stage business where we will utilize the grassroots artist network and a community curation ideal.
The beta site is up now: worldisstage.com.
If this is of interest to you and you feel you'd like to contribute, shoot me an email: daniel.roth@asu.edu and we'll start making this happen.
Rock on.
