• 02-05-2012: ASU vs. USC Season Opener

  The ASU Women's Lacrosse Team beat USC this morning in their season opener 17-4! Nice job Devils! Now it's time to get ready for their next game against the UCSB Gauchos next Sunday. Come out and support the team at the ASU Bandfields at 11AM!

• 10-26-2011: 3rd Annual Devilettes Lacrosse Clinic

  The ASU Women's Lacrosse Team will be hosting the 3rd Annual Devilettes Lacrosse Clinic on Saturday, December 3rd from 11AM-4PM! All players (including goalies!) and levels of experience from grades 6-12 are welcome to attend the clinic. Current ASU players will work with the intermediate and developmental players (0-3 years of experience) while head coach Maren Henley will work with players with 3+ years of experience for advanced instruction. Sign up as soon as possible to pay the early bird price of $35 - this price ends on November 20th! After this date, prices raise to $45. An online sign up will be available on www.asuwomenslax.com by Friday, October 28th!

• 08-16-2011: Passport to ASU and Informational Meeting

  Come out to Passport to ASU to meet some of the returning players from 6:30 to 9:30 Wednesday evening at the SRC! You can sign up to find out more about our team, practices, and the 2012 season. On Tuesday, August 30th we will be holding our Informational Meeting in the SRC Classroom (upstairs, first classroom on the right of the desk) and Monday, September 12th will be our first fall practice! Feel free to come by both Passport and the Informational Meeting if you are interested! If you can't make either of these events, please e-mail us at asuwomenslax@gmail.com so we can send you all of the information you will need. We are looking forward to meeting our 2011/2012 Arizona State Women's Lacrosse Team!

• 06-15-2011: Championships 2011

  ASU Sun Devils finished 6th after entering the 2011 WWLL Championships Tournament seeded 7th. We lost to Santa Clara 17-9 then picked it up by beating Cal Berkeley 19-12. Finally, we played our last game of the 2011 season against our first opponent of the year - UCLA - and lost 14-13 after a hard-fought game. Great season this year ladies!

• 04-12-2011: Going to the 'Ship

  The ASU Women's lacrosse team has qualified for championships for the 3rd year in a row, with 2 consecutive years of being an automatic qualifier.  They enter the tournament seeded #7 (out of 8 teams) and will play #2 Santa Clara on Saturday, April 16th, at 10 AM at UC Santa Barabara.

• 04-12-2011: 7th Annual Golf Tournament

  The 7th Annual Golf Tournament was held Sunday, April 10th, 2011 at the Legacy golf resort.  

• 03-24-2011: Chico State Forfeits Game

  Chico State has chosen to forfeit its game at Arizona State University due to low roster numbers.  The team apologizes and hopes to continue the exchange of home/away games next year, when they have more participation.  The Sun Devil's next game is now Thursday, March 31st at 7 PM on the bandfield. 

• 02-26-2011: Devils Start Winning Streak

  The Arizona State Sun Devils won their home opener today with an astounding 17-4 win against Sonoma State. ASU's week of practice after the Santa Barbara Shootout tournament paid off; they dominated draw controls, held possession on offense for the majority of the game, and redefended against Sonoma State, often stopping the ball before it crossed the 50 yard line. Today's win marks what will hopefully be a winning streak all the way to Championships!

  Be sure to come support your Sun Devils at the Western Showdown next weekend, March 5th & 6th, as they take on UCSD & USD.

• 01-24-2011: 2011 Captains Chosen

  This year's team captains are senior Kate Colchie and junior Danielle Shaffer.

• 01-24-2011: 2nd Annual Devilettes Clinic a Success

  The 2nd Annual Devilette's Clinic was a great success, with 55 girls attending the Saturday afternoon clinic on December 4th, 2010.  Players were split up according to experience and were coached by the ASU team on defense, offense, possession skills, and shooting.  The day was topped off with raffle prizes from Harrow Sports and Elite Lacrosse.

  Several awards were given out to each experience group:
